Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds extra lean ground beef
1/2 pound extra lean ground pork
1 egg
1 C. mashed potatoes
1/2 C. milk
2 tsp. seasoning salt
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. brown sugar
1 C. beef broth
1/2 C. heavy cream
1/2 C. chopped parsley
Instructions:
Thoroughly combine all ingredients except flour, beef broth, heavy cream and chopped parsley. Blend well and shape into about 24 1 1/2 inch meatballs. Roll lightly in flour. Place on rack of broiler pan in preheated 400 degree oven for 20 minutes. Drain. Carefully remove meatballs to warm platter. Meanwhile, stir heavy cream into broth in crock pot, mix until smooth. Cook on high until hot. Add the meatballs and hold on low until ready to serve. Just before serving sprinkle with the chopped parsley.
