Ingredients:
1 lb Beans, pinto, dried
6 cup Water, cold
1/2 lb Salt pork, cut up
1 lb Beef, chuck steak, 1" cubed
1/2 tsp Pepper, red, crushed
1 Onions, chopped
2 cl Garlic cloves, minced
6 oz Tomato paste
1 1/2 tbsp Chili powder
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Cumin seed
1/2 tsp Marjoram leaves
Instructions:
Soak beans in water overnight. Brown salt pork in skillt or in the
corckpot if you have that type.
Combine the soaked beans with water into the crockpot along with the
browed salt pork and remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low for
9-10 hours.
