Ingredients:
3 lb POTATOES
1 1/2 cup BUTTERMILK
1/4 cup BUTTER
1 tsp SALT
1/2 tsp BLACK PEPPER
Instructions:
PEEL 3 LBS. POTATOES AND CUT INTO CUBES 1/2" SQUARE. PLACE IN A 4
QUART SAUCE PAN WITH ENOUGH WATER TO COVER AND BRING TO A BOIL. LOWER
HEAT AND SIMMER FOR ABOUT 15 MINUTES OR UNTIL POTATOES ARE TENDER.
DRAIN WATER FROM POTATOES AND AND PLACE THEM IN A LARGE BOWL. ADD
BUTTERMILK, SALT, PEPPER AND BUTTER. BEAT WITH AN ELECTRIC MIXER ON
MEDIUM SPEED UNTIL SMOOTH AND CREAMY. PLACE IN SERVING DISH AND DOT
WITH BUTTER.
