  Original Fudgsicle - Fudge Bars

Ingredients:
2 cups low fat Half & Half
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup light corn syrup
2 teaspoons shortening
2 teaspoons unflavored gelatin (1 pkg.)
pinch salt

Freezer style Ice Pop Molds with sticks
Instructions:
mix all ingredients together in medium sauce pan on medium heat until sugars are completely dissolved.

Do not boil...

remove from heat, cover and allow to cool for 15 minutes

place in refrigerator until mixture is cold - about 2 hours.

pour into Ice pop mold and freeze (add sticks after first 2 hours in freezer if using a free floating style mold & stick set)

should be solid in around 6 hours total.

makes 7 - 8 pops
