Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
3 C. chopped broccoli
2 cans mushroom pieces 4 oz. each Or 1 C. chopped fresh mushrooms
1/2 C. chopped celery
1 C. sliced carrots
1/4 C. chopped green pepper
1 quart tomato juice or V8
1/2 C. water
1/4 tsp. salt to 1/2 tsp.
1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. oregano
Instructions:
Brown beef, drain off fat. Add vegetables, juice, water, and seasonings. Place in crock pot and cook on low 8 to 9 hours.
