Ingredients:
3 cup Huckleberries,fresh or froze
1 cup Grated apple
1 cup Sugar
2 tbsp Flour
1/2 tsp Almond extract
1 dash Salt
1 each Pastry for a double crust pi
Instructions:
Note: The apple does not alter the flavor,but stretches the
precious berries.
Measure ingredients into a two quart mixing bowl and mix well.Pour
into unbaked pie shell.Cover with top crust and bake @ 375 degrees
for about one hour or until nicely browned.Makes one 9" pie.
