Ingredients:
2 cup Self rising flour
3/4 cup Water or milk
3 tbsp Shortening
1/2 cup Butter, melted
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 475 degrees. Cut shortening into flour, gradually add
milk. Generously grease 10 inch iron skillet. Drop large spoonfuls of
batter into skillet (an ice cream scooper works great.) Bake 5
minutes; remove from oven and pour melted butter over top. Return to
oven and bake 10 to 15 minutes longer, or until brown.
