Ingredients:
1 cup Shortening
1 cup Brown sugar
1 cup Sugar, granulated
2 each Eggs, well beaten
2 cup Quick oats
1 cup Cocoanut, shredded
2 cup Flour
1 tsp Baking soda
1 tsp Baking powder
1 cup Gumdrops, (no licorice) - c ut in small pieces
Instructions:
Cream shortening and sugars, add eggs, oats, cocoanut, flour, soda,
baking powder and gumdrops lightly floured. Make in balls size of
walnuts, press flat with fork dipped in milk. Bake in moderate oven.

Note: Moderate oven is 350 - 400 F.
