  YEAST ROLLS FROM OCKERMAN

Ingredients:
1/2 cup Milk
3 Tbs Shortening
1/2 water (cool to luke warm)
2 1/2 Cups Flour
2 Tbs Sugar
1 tsp Salt
1 pkg Yeast
1 egg
Instructions:
Scald 1/2 cup of milk,add 3 tablespoons of shortening stir until melted.
Add 1/2 cup of water cool to luke warm.
Mix 1/2 cup of flour and 2 tablespoons of sugar.
Add 1 teaspoon of salt and a package of yeast.
Add to cool milk add 1 beaten egg and beat well.
Add 2 cups of flour to make a soft dough.
Cover and let rise in a warm place.
Shape into dinner rolls and let rise.
Bake at 375 * 15 minutes.
