Ingredients:
8 oz. spaghetti (broken)
2 Tbls. butter
1/3 C. Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger, browned
1/2 C. onion, chopped
1/4 C. green pepper, chopped
2 Tbls. vegetable oil
15 1/2 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
1 Tbls. sugar
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 C. cottage cheese
4 oz. Mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
Cook spaghetti and drain. Stir in butter, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and egg until combined. Pour into a greased 9"x13" pan. Spread cottage cheese over spaghetti. Brown hamburger, onion, green pepper in oil until meat is browned. Drain and stir in spaghetti sauce, sugar, oregano and garlic salt. Pour over spaghetti and cottage cheese layer. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes. Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese over meat and bake 10 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Let stand a few minutes before cutting.
