Ingredients:
6 C. water
8 oz. lasagna noodles
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. oil
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 C. diced onion
32 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
4 oz. jar sliced mushrooms, drained
2 C. cottage cheese
1 egg, slightly beaten
8 oz. mozzarella cheese, sliced
Instructions:
Place water and slat in a glass baking dish. Cover and cook on HIGH (9) for 10-12 minutes or until boiling. Add lasagna noodles and oil. Cover and cook on SIMMER (3) for 11-13 minutes or until tender. Drain water and separate noodles to avoid sticking together. In a glass casserole, cook beef and onion on ROAST (7) for 6 minutes or until beef is no longer pink. Drain. Mix in spaghetti sauce and mushrooms. Mix together egg and cottage cheese. In a glass baking dish, layer 1/3 noodles, 1/3 sauce, 1/2 cottage cheese mixture. Repeat layers 2 more times, omitting cottage cheese from third layer. Cover and cook on REHEAT (8) for 10 minutes, arrange mozzarella cheese on top during last 5 minutes of cooking.
